Choose the Correct Size Cuff: Measure your arm circumference at the midpoint between your elbow and shoulder (upper arm) or at the wrist (if using a wrist cuff). Make sure to select a cuff size that matches your arm circumference, as a cuff that’s too tight or too loose can lead to inaccurate readings.
Attach the Cuff to the Arm or Wrist:
For upper-arm cuffs, slide the cuff onto your bare upper arm about 1-2 inches above the elbow.
For wrist cuffs, wrap the cuff snugly around the wrist, ensuring that it’s level with your heart.
Secure the Cuff: Fasten the velcro or hook-and-loop closure to ensure the cuff is snug but not too tight. The cuff should fit comfortably but be firm enough to stay in place during inflation.
Start the Measurement: Once the cuff is in place, turn on your digital monitor, and it will automatically inflate the cuff, measure your blood pressure, and deflate it.
Read the Results: After the inflation/deflation cycle, your digital monitor will display your systolic and diastolic blood pressure readings on the screen.

Choose the Correct Cuff Size:

Position the Cuff on the Upper Arm:
Place the cuff around your bare upper arm, about 1–2 inches above your elbow. Ensure the tubing is positioned on the inside of your arm, in line with your palm.
Sit Comfortably and Relax:
Sit with your feet flat on the floor, and keep your arm at heart level (ideally supported on a flat surface like a table).
Start the Measurement:
Press the power button to turn on the monitor. The cuff will automatically begin inflating, and the monitor will measure your blood pressure.
Wait for Results:
Once inflation is complete, the cuff will slowly deflate. After the measurement is done, the monitor will display your systolic (upper) and diastolic (lower) pressure, as well as your pulse rate.
Record or Save the Results:
Depending on the model, the monitor will store your results automatically in its memory or allow you to manually save them for later review. Some models provide a date/time stamp.
