Adjust the Straps: Begin by adjusting the straps to fit your baby or toddler. Slide the shoulder, waist, and leg straps to the appropriate length so they fit snugly but not too tight. The straps should be comfortable without pinching your baby’s skin.
Place Baby in the Gear: If you’re using the harness with a stroller, car seat, or high chair, place your baby into the seat and ensure they’re comfortably seated.
Fasten the Harness: Secure the straps over your baby’s shoulders, waist, and between their legs. Buckle the harness securely, ensuring it’s locked in place. Make sure the chest buckle is positioned at your baby’s chest level for added safety.
Test the Fit: Once the harness is secured, gently pull on the straps to ensure they are tight enough to hold your baby securely, but not so tight that they are uncomfortable. You should be able to fit two fingers between the straps and your baby’s body.
Safety Check: Always double-check the fit before using the harness in any baby gear, especially in a car seat or stroller, to ensure that your baby is safe.
Cleaning: Check the manufacturer’s instructions for how to clean the harness. Most models are machine washable or can be wiped down with a damp cloth to keep them clean.
