Tommee Tippee Breast Pump Manual

Tommee Tippee was founded over half a century ago, born from a mission to make everyday life easier for new parents. Way back in 1940’s Calfornia, three entrepreneurial brothers had the idea to design a cup for babies that wouldn’t tip over. Even when their initial prototype was rejected, they carried on. They decided to give their new cup a weighted base, and named it after their beloved dog, Tommee. A British businessman loved their cup so much, that he invested in their idea and in 1969 the Tommee Tippee story officially began.

How to use:

1. Wash your hands. Make sure that the pump, bottle and all the parts are clean and sterile before use. 
2. Start by few minutes massaging your breast – this helps with the let-down reflex. 
3. Place the breast shield or funnel over your nipple, and switch the machine on. Start with a slow speed or with level that is comfortable for your breast.
4. Switch breasts when your milk starts slowing down. Then swap back again when you find you have more milk to express. You may find that one breast produces more milk than the other – this is normal.
5. Once you've emptied both breasts, remove the breast shield, and put a lid on the bottle. You can either refrigerate it straight away, or leave it out at room temperature for no more than 4 to 6 hours.
6. Wash and sterilise the pump and parts.

The design is so simple, but very effective. It so easy to use. The suction is perfect and very easy to control by squeezing gently. We highly recommend it.
